PROACT delivers storage solution to GE Medical Systems’ ASP-service in the Nordic
Several hospitals have chosen a so called ASP solution from GE Medical Systems. The ASP-solution means that GE Medical Systems will take care of the image management, storage and distribution, and that the photo archive will get a practically unlimited and secure data storage resource that is transparent to the user.

Ericsson Software Technology AB, which works with software development, has ordered a data-storage and infrastructure solution from PROACT Datasystem AB, a company within the PROACT IT Group. The deal is worth about SEK 9.4 million and involves the supply of hardware and software as well as implementation services in connection with the expansion of Ericsson Software Technology’s ClearCase development environment.

PROACT IT Group AB today finalized the agreement to acquire 70 per cent of the stocks in TNC Storage Consultants AG, according to the letter of intent signed June 1. TNC’s management will keep the remaining 30 per cent of stocks over the next two years, and then this will be acquired by PROACT, with the price based on achievement. The two companies have chosen not to make the conditions public.

PROACT has – through PROACT Systems AS in Norway - entered into a global agreement with Statoil concerning the delivery of a NAS-solution (Network Attached Storage) initially for its larger offices in Norway as well as Copenhagen and Stockholm. The agreement covers powerful storage solutions from Network Appliance, and the initial order value amounts to approximately NOK 25 million.
