Project management

Paying for an external project manager may be viewed as an unnecessary expense, but is it possible for someone to focus on a project management role while also having to deal with ordinary duties? Would an internal project manager be able to maintain the desired high level of quality on the project, and what would monitoring be like? Would the project manager have time to monitor and check that the intended effects have been achieved?

Proact creates a better, more efficient and therefore more economic form of project management. We take overall responsibility for the project, managing and driving it forward. A project plan is drawn up together with the client, including everything from concept through to completion. The project plan then forms the basis for ensuring that defined objectives are achieved.

Engaging an external project manager creates clear targets to be achieved and to deliver against. Better decision bases allow for better prioritisation, and it becomes easier to carry out quick but controlled changes and improvements. This leads to efficient utilisation of resources, releases and protects precisely specified resources for prioritised effort and also allows for clear monitoring and handover to management.

Our project model, Master the Project™, consists of fixed, defined stages, effect analysis, project analysis, specification, design implementation, introduction, effect monitoring and evaluation. Decisions about progressing to the next stage will be taken only after the previous stage has been approved at established decision points.
